1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Aurora Backgrounds ("Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions set forth herein, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Aurora Backgrounds provides a web-based CSS and Tailwind mesh gradient background generator. Users can create, customize, export, and save background gradients. Saving projects requires creating an account. The Service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue any feature at any time without notice.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service (such as saving custom auroras), you may need to register an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Intellectual Property & Usage License

• Your Designs: Any gradient configurations or exports generated using our tool are yours to use. You retain all ownership rights to the designs you generate, and you are free to use them in commercial or non-commercial projects.
• Service Content: The application interface, core styling, brand assets, source code, design elements, and logos are the intellectual property of Aurora Backgrounds and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Using the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
• Attempting to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the Service.
• Using automated systems (including robots, spiders, or offline readers) to access the Service in a manner that sends more request messages to our servers than a human can reasonably produce in the same period.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Aurora Backgrounds, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the Service.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will indicate the date of the latest update at the top of this page. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
