• Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, password, and optionally Google OAuth profile information (if signing up via Google).
• Created Designs: We store the gradient data, custom names, and metadata of the auroras you design and save to your account.
• Usage Data & Telemetry: We collect anonymous or pseudonymous interactions such as export events, button clicks, and hardware diagnostics via error tracking (Sentry) and privacy-focused analytics (Umami) to diagnose performance issues and improve usability.

3. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used in the following ways:

• To authenticate and manage your account.
• To save, retrieve, and display your custom gradient designs.
• To troubleshoot technical issues, optimize canvas performance, and secure our systems.
• To analyze usage trends and improve the overall design of the generator.

4. Cookies and Session Management

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session with our PocketBase database. These cookies are strictly necessary for the core functionality of the account features (such as keeping you logged in between visits) and do not track you across unrelated third-party websites.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share data with trusted service providers to run the application:

• PocketBase: Used for database operations, security verification, and account storage.
• Sentry: For real-time error logging and performance metrics.
• Umami: For privacy-preserving web analytics (no cookie tracking, IP addresses anonymized).

6. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have control over your data. You can edit or delete your saved auroras at any time from your sidebar workspace. If you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated data, please submit a deletion request via our in-app Feedback form, and we will process it promptly.

We implement modern, industry-standard security measures (such as SSL encryption, hashed passwords, and tokenized session cookies) to protect your information. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
